I wonder which approach “luckyfoods00” wants to exploit this time is he looking for a reshipper to move hot goods out or maybe someone to take part in a little money laundering.

Maybe I’ll contact luckfoods00 at his corporate address at Yahoo.com.hk. They must be on a tight budget using a free e-mail address. I guess I will pass on this one, seems way to good to be true.

I was almost conned by the same Lucky Union Foods scam as above. I thought it was a little too elaborate to be a scam but I was wrong. I never deposited the check and I actually sent it back to the company which was stated on the check who verified that the check was bogus. Be careful! There are too many bottom feeders out there trying to take from the honest people!

  2. gariell says:

    Jeff,

Glad to hear that you were vigilant enough not to be drawn into the scam. Yes there are a lot of bottom feeders out there and we try to expose as many as we can.

    Thanks for the comment

  4. gariell says:

    Mama,

Have no idea what you said but I will leave your comment there anyway.

  5. Karen says:

I have been working with this Dr P Miraya now for nearly a month….What is the scam here…I have not received a check yet….I thought these people got my resume off Monster….If I receive a check should I contact the company to see if it is legit…would you like to see all the email correspondance I have saved from this company ..If this is a scam I want to know it and I am contacting Homeland Security…This company is all over the internet as a legit company..

  6. gariell says:

    Karen.
Have you been corresponding via Yahoo? If so, it’s a scam. Scammers often
use public e-mail, since they can not use the legitimate e-mail address. If you are corresponding by landline, the telephone number mentioned in this post is listed in the
Joe Wein site as a scam phone number. You also mention that you are working for this individual. If your job requires you to receive payments from “clients” and forward funds to them….Don’t it’s illegal….Get a check from, I would advise you not to cash it see Jeff’s comment above. As far as the Lucky Union Foods Company goes, yes it is a very well known company, just the kind of company that scammers love to pretend they work for. Scammers also enjoy seeking workers through popular job sites like Monster.
All in all, Karen, it doesn’t look too promising career wise.

    Cheers,
    Gariell

  7. Joan Scott says:

Good Morning to All : I just today recieved an e-mail from The Luck Union Food Company Ltd. asking if I wanted a job at $60,000 US per year. Preye Miraya (Dr) said he was head of Exports & Supplies Division. I like to e-mail these scammers this quote ” An honest job gets you an honest living.” They never reply. Please check out my legal website a and start a business that hasa real product and real income potential. Thanks for this website and for “google” for letting us learn from others mistakes. Take care. Joan in Canada.

  8. Steve Jepson says:

I was contacted by these scum bags. I googled it and saw it was a legit company, but kept looking and saw these posts’. Boy am I glad I did. My Mama always told me if it’s too good to be true it usually is. I kept asking them how they got my name and they never answered the question…that alone made me wary. I would love to know more about them if anyone else has a story to share.

I have also received these same emails from “lucky union foods”, don’t they know that their scam is about up. I hate bottom feeding scum that destroy a good company’s reputation. To the culprits behind this: I got some sushi to stuff right where the sun don’t shine!!

Like others they talked about setting up a business then they sent me a Check from Children’s Hospital Boston$48K. I Call ed the hospital and they told me the Check was two years old for a different amount and payable to some one else. I think these people want you to deposit this check and have your local bank clear it wire it out only to find that it isn’t a good check. Any one dealing with these people stop it’s a scam thank God for this messages.

i just received an e-mail from them. LUCKY UNION FOODS CO., LTD is a scam. keep the key words simple and on top without any symbols. it will make it easier for people to search out the BS. it took me all of about 10 secs to figure this as a scam. tell your friends about using + searches to aid in easier google searches. and make lazy web masters correct the spell checkers when you type google. it is not misspelled you bastard ass machine. do not underline it please. Ciprian Gheordun,

It’s a scam. Legitimate companies have no need for other people to collect their bills. This is probably an offer looking for money mules to launder money. Flush this one quick.
    Cheers

  21. kim says:

told these people to piss off. Got 2 checks in the mail today I am trying to send them back to the law office they supposedly came from or maybe I should hand them over to homeland security.

  22. David Szeto says:

Slightly off topic maybe, but a plea for people to consider the ethics of buying things like designer clothes. Please try and think about, for example, the materials your item is made from, the human rights of the factories where they’re manufactured and the ethics of retailers. And try to recycle rather than throwing away. Thanks!!!!
